The documentation for CTF-Siphon is available in its original .pdf format for download and browser viewing on the left. It is also available on Google Drive here.
CTF-Siphon was my attempt at creating an Unreal Tournament 4 map using the architecture of Sheridan College as inspiration. The map's architecture was based in Sheridan's B-Wing, images of which can be seen in the documentation. The geometry was created entirely from BSP brushes using boolean operators as needed.
Challenge:
A. Design and greybox a 3 v. 3 capture-the-flag map inspired by Sheridan's campus
B. Build an Unreal Tournament 4 map using Unreal Engine 4 with limited weapons
C. Balance map team-interactions and item placements without utilising symmetry
My Role:
A. Document useable architectural features of the inspirational location
B. Draft level designs and documentation, detailing thought process and plans
C. Iterate level design documentation, and map implementation based on critique
